Glorious vibrant vintage flag (3.6m x 1.8m) Very dramatic scale

Original Union Jack - Dept of Defence J. M. Hamilton 1953. Very good condition commenserate with age and some minor original repairs. Would have been used to celebrate Her Majesty’s visit to Australia in 1954. Original markings shown, by way of original stencil stamping.

Flaws to note, keeping in mind its exposure to the elements and years of service: some whispering of fabric, a few little perished holes and overall still good integrity and structure for styling purposes and many years of life to live.

Ideas to get the juicy imagination going: use for styling, bedspread, privacy screening, curtain in bedroom-bathroom-change room etc. Love all the options that just flood my imagination, there is always the obvious choice of flag pole!
