She’s not Queen Margaret or Elizabeth, but she is absolutely beautiful. This portrait is such a moment in time. I can smell the hairspray in her springy perfectly set hair and the powdery musk talc just admiring her, the satin off the shoulder frock is a perfect Tiffany blue, she is not low maintenance I certain. Her oven would be immaculate.

Pastel is detailed and includes a few smears on her face by the artist.

Framed in an ornate pale gold plaster frame, and cased in non-reflective glass. The frame has most definitely seen better days, it’s starting to crumble a bit, but as with many of my finds, I still think it’s decaying qualities are beautiful. Reframing is always an option down the track.
