Gorgeous vintage poker worked collar box with lid featuring hand pokered scene. Lid is used upside down to display (a naturally found object) a small genuine twiggy birds nest with artificial eggs. This still blows my mind, I bought these eggs for no reason at all, and on the exact day I was carrying them into my studio there was LITERALLY this tiny sweet birds nest at the gate. No tree close by, just this nest blown at my feet. Naturally I was supposed to appreciate it and it has been displayed ever since. It’s been a wonderful source of curiosity for many visitors here.
