One of a kind and I have not seen one of this magnitude. This would work wonderfully in a boutique, as a counter with glass on top. What a statement piece, the mother of pearl is so luminous in the sunlight and twinkles like little diamonds on the surface, adding allure.

1970s vintage carved teak, naturally bleached and aged timber, with symbolic traditional carvings as well as intricate mother of pearl shell inlay.

There is some slight loss of some of the mother of pearl, but nothing that detracts from the majestic beauty of this truso chest. The carved top lifts easily via strong steel hinges at back of the chest. the lid is carved across the top, each and and face of the chest. are also carved, there is a substantial timber skirt as the shaped base of the chest.
