This lovely vintage piece is a traditional button back sofa, with lovely timber carved wooden feet. It came over from the United Kingdom and is a much loved and admired statement piece. Currently residing in the atelier, this is the comfortable and quirky client seating for gallery viewings and contemplation.

clean and well looked after, however velvet is showing signs of use and this would come up beautifully with a professional steaming of the pile to brighten and lift

no stains, rips or pulls, some subtle marks to the perimeter from being moved, but not distracting or very obvious

structurally sound, no broken springs, still firm and very comfortable

I would grade the vintage condition a 7.5/10 (and I’m being tough)
